Help to a Hollywood star

13.12.2013

Haley Bennett, a young rising Hollywood star, was detained in the Domodedovo airport by Federal migration service officers for violation the procedure of exit from Russia.

Statutory penalty for this offence is a fine and deportation from the Russian Federation with prohibition of entry for 5 years.

Now Haley Bennett stars in a new Timur Bekmambetov’s film. Prohibition of entry into Russia would seriously hinder filming.

Managing partner Sergey Vodolagin convinced the court that Haley’s conduct was not publicly dangerous. Haley Bennett had mitigating circumstances and she acknowledged the offence. As a result the court decided not to deport Haley Bennett from Russia.
