According to Kommersant daily, the Сourt of Stockholm rejected the appeal of Russia against the seizure of state property.

The order was made on October 11th, to secure Mr Sedelmeier’s (a Germany businessman) claim in amount of 5 mln euros as compensation of the investment lost when trying to set up a business in St. Petersburg in the 1990s.

Sergey Vodolagin, managing partner of Westside Advisors LLC, gave his comments to Kommersant saying that the seizure of the Russian trade mission building has no example so far since the building has diplomatic immunity.
