The I World Forum of MGIMO Alumni

The I World Forum of MGIMO Alumni took place in Baku (Azerbaijan) from the 9th till the 13th of April.

Sergey Vodolagin — partner of Westside Advisors law firm (graduating ‘89) took part in the event. The concept of the arranger of the event — President of the Republic of Azerbayjan Mr. I. Aliev was to reunite all the alumni from all countries all over the world for the last 70 years. The representatives of national elites and heads of various international authorities took part in the event — special representative of the UN General Secretary — Jan Kubis (MO ‘76), Vice-Director of the UN General Secretary — J. K. Tokaev (MO 75) and others.

During the forum the participants discussed such important issues as the impact of the social institutions on development of the international relations, impact of the education on development of international relations and other topics. The forum was concluded by a gala dinner in the Buta restaurant.
