Russia’s largest kitchen furniture hypermarket «Kuhnistroy» has been closed for failure to comply with fire regulations.

«Had there been no tragedy at Perm, the court may have issued a lighter penalty, as closure of a building for failure to comply with fire regulations is an extreme measure» stated Sergey Vodolagin, Managing Partner of the Westside Advisors law firm, who represented the interests of BPT in court. Until now there has been no court case in which such a large building has been closed for this reason.
