Westside Advisors took part in the international conference «Russia in the World Trade Organization: New Tools To Protect Business»

The Conference addressed various issues relating to Russia’s accession to WTO.

Among other things the participants discussed the issues relating to the dispute resolution by the Dispute Settlement Body, the impact on different sectors of Russia’s economy (especially insurance and other). The participants of the Conference considered the experience of Ukraine (acceded to WTO in 2008) as the country which has economic conditions similar to Russia.
